I. Leo XIII & Freemasonry

There are three principal means the devil uses to assault God's Holy Church, Masonry, Marxism and Modernism. These three evils cooperate inter se to the end, were it possible, of the destruction of that one thing in this world which is indestructible, because it is not human, but Divine. The devil will not succeed but the harm he has wrought, and will wreak, amongst the members of the Church by these means is enormous. This paper deals with the first and, in our view, the worst of them, Freemasonry. It is the first of a number of papers we hope to publish on the topic. more

II. Freemasonry—the Church's law up to Vatican II and beyond

Contrary to the belief of many, the Church's embargo on Catholics joining Masonic associations remains in place.  Here is a short study of the Church's law on the subject. more

III. Freemasonry & the Church in Brazil

We provide this link to an article on the Seattle Catholic website we commend to our readers entitled: 'The Young Friar and the Emperor', by O. M. Alves.  It deals with the conflict between the Catholic bishops and Freemasons in Brazil in the late 19th century --http://www.seattlecatholic.com/a051102.html

IV. Freemasons in the Church

Once a priest or religious becomes a Mason the consequences for the Catholic faithful are appalling. Not only will he neglect to implement Catholic teaching, he will work to put in place the Masonic agenda which includes subverting, insofar as he is able, orthodox priests and bishops. more

V. Archbishop Chaput on the American Bishops, John F Kennedy and Religious Liberty

Much has been made of Archbishop Chaput's recent suggestion that John F Kennedy is to blame for undermining religious belief in American public life.  We think the blame lies elsewhere.  more

VI. More on Archbishop Chaput, John F Kennedy and the American Bishops

There has been ongoing debate on the Chiesa website as to the propriety of Archbishop Chaput's criticism of John F Kennedy's comments in his September,1960 Houston Address.  The contributors continue, in our view, to get it wrong.  more
